Australia's Jagwar Ma, recently named to our Artists To Watch 2012 Edition drop their debut single "Come Save Me" as part of a split single with "What Love?" for a deadly one, two punch of enthralling pop music. "Come Save Me" a lo-fi sun kissed pop tune with just the right amount of Beach Boys surfs up appeal. Meanwhile b-side "What Love?" ditches the surf and sand for a hypnotic dancefloor beat that's rivals James Murphy or Cut Copy, the bait 'n switch pays off for Jagwar Ma, offering two contrasting visions of pop music yet both have pop sensibility and a flare for 60s pop if only a little muffled, appealing elements that make Jagwar Ma an act to follow.
